ASTER Level 1B Scenes last updated: 01 October 2004

The IMS Scene Locator requires the use of JavaScript and Dynamic HTML (DHTML). This means that it will work "out of the box" for most common web browsers, and that it should be possible to make the IMS Scene Locator work with any graphical web browser. This site works best with Internet Explorer version 5.0 or newer & Netscape version 6.0 or newer.

WARNING: If all LEVEL 1B data is displayed over a large area, the application may freeze. To avoid this problem, first zoom into your location of interest, then display the Level 1B data.

Use the ASTER Scene Locator to find a scene ID, then use this ID to order the scene from Land Processes Distributed Active Archive Center (LP DAAC).

Learn more about the ASTER satellite at the ASTER Home Page.
